ORGANISING FOR CHANGE: IMWs Say NO to Overcharging
Many Indonesian Migrant Workers [IMWs] are overcharged with excessive placement fees and are indebted in order to pay back their agents due to the existing labour export policies in Indonesia.
The Indonesian migrant workers movement in Hong Kong led by the Association of Indonesian Migrant Workers (ATKI) has initiated the campaign against anti-migrant policies including the overcharging practices.
This 20-minute advocacy video will focus on the issue of overcharging practices that affect Indonesian domestic workers in Hong Kong, as well as other Indonesian migrants across the globe.
