The Human Resource Development Foundation, established in 1988, implements programmes to contribute to the solution of problems stemming from irregular population movements and to eliminate the factors that hinder social development. HRDF has expertise in implementing different programmes:

  1. Reproductive/Sexual Health and Rights Programme: activities range from providing technical support on family planning counselling to prevention of STIs and HIV/AIDS and promoting sex workers' rights.

  2. Irregular Migration: Activities range from providing psychosocial assistance to asylum seekers/refugees to combating human trafficking and promoting human rights of undocumented migrant workers. 

  3. Community Development: Establishing community centres in poor neighbourhoods of cities with special emphasis on empowerment of women.
