Dear Members and Friends,
Greetings from GAATW International Secretariat.
This year marks an important milestone for GAATW as we celebrate our 15-year anniversary.
Since GAATW was founded in 1994 by a group of women activists, the Alliance has been a strong advocate for a human rights-based approach in anti-trafficking work. Strengthened by the shared commitment of the Alliance, GAATW has grown into a mature network and has made many achievements in reaching international bodies, policy-makers and individuals across the world. Today, GAATW continues to be at the forefront in advocating for the rights of trafficked and migrant persons.
We take the opportunity to thank our members, allies and friends for being part of this meaningful, collective journey. We look forward to the years ahead to continue to work for the change we envision.
Over the years, we have watched the e-Bulletin grow and evolve to bring you updated and relevant information on trafficking and migration issues. We appreciate the continued growth of the readership – now over 600 people.
