The Coalition to Abolish Slavery & Trafficking (Cast) is a Los Angeles–based nonprofit organization dedicated to ending human trafficking through a public health and human rights approach. Founded in 1998, Cast provides comprehensive, trauma-informed services to survivors of labor and sex trafficking while advancing policy reform, education, and advocacy that address the root causes of exploitation. Cast works locally, nationally, and internationally to promote survivor leadership, prevent harm, and build systems grounded in healing, not punishment.
