Safe Horizon is the nation’s leading victim assistance organization and serves over 350,000 people each year who have been touched by violence.  Safe Horizon’s mission is to provide support, prevent violence, and promote justice for victims of crime and abuse, their families and communities. The Anti-Trafficking Program was established in 2001, to serve trafficked persons in the New York City metropolitan area and is one of the country’s largest providers to survivors of human trafficking. The Anti-Trafficking Program works to provide direct services such as shelter or housing referrals, crisis counseling, and legal assistance to trafficking victims. It also provides national training and community outreach, and operates the New York City Service Network for Trafficked Persons.
