Global Alliance Against Traffic in Women

GAATW sees the phenomenon of human trafficking as intrinsically embedded in the context of migration for the purpose of labour.

Global Alliance Against Traffic in Women

Annual Reports

Following the energy and discussions of the International Members Congress and Conference (IMCC) held during GAATW’s 30th Anniversary at the end of 2024, members reaffirmed the importance of strengthening connections across our work on:

  • Human trafficking and forced labour
  • Migration and migrant rights
  • Labour rights

During the first months of 2025, Programme Leads, Programme Advisory Committees (PACs), and members from different regions came together to reflect on lessons from previous years, identify emerging challenges, and shape priorities and activities for the future. These discussions were grounded in members’ experiences, feminist organising, and long-standing alliance knowledge.

This Annual Report shares some of that collective process from programme developments and thematic priorities to regional exchanges, advocacy work, and movement-building efforts across the alliance.

We invite you to read the report and learn more about the work, reflections, and solidarity shaping GAATW’s journey.
