La Strada International

LSI-20-Years motto 101214La Strada International is the International Secretariat of the La Strada network (formed by the La Strada organisations in Poland, Belarus, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Moldova, Bulgaria, Macedonia and the Netherlands). All La Strada member organisations are registered as independent non-governmental organisations and work at the grassroots level, on the issue of trafficking in human beings. Some members also work on the issue of gender-based violence violence.

La Strada International focuses on international networking, lobby and advocacy and public relations on behalf of the member organisations as well as producing common policies, action plans, harmonised lobby and advocacy programmes. La Strada International works on the expansion of its relations with national and international organisations, national governments, European institutions and UN bodies. The secretariat supports capacity building of the members and provides a forum for NGOs on the issue of human trafficking. It also houses an international archive and documentation centre and manages the international La Strada website.

NGO "Novi put"

Logo Novi putNovi put was established in 2010 by women with long anti-trafficking experience. The organisation is registered at the state level and implements anti-trafficking programmes comprised of education and grass roots prevention activities among groups vulnerable to human trafficking; counselling support to potential and confirmed victims; training and lectures for both law enforcement agencies and general public; lobbying and information campaigns. Novi put runs a Help Line providing up-to date information on human trafficking and safe migration. The organisation is a member of the core Regional Monitoring Team for anti-trafficking established by the ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina and a member of the La Strada International NGO Platform and European NGO Platform Against Trafficking, Exploitation and Slavery (ENPATES).

AMUMRA

Asociación Civil de Derechos Mujeres Humanos Unidas Migrantes y Refugiadas en Argentina (AMUMRA) was founded in 2004 by a group of Peruvian woman migrants and refugees in Argentina. Today, its members are migrants and refugees from various countries. AMUMRA works to defend the human rights of migrant and refugee women, as well as their families. Specifically, they focus on the prevention of discrimination against migrants and refugees and provide health, social and legal assistance to migrants, refugees and trafficked women.

CENTRO DE CAPACITACION Y SERVICIO PARA LA INTEGRACION DE LA MUJER (CECASEM BOLIVIA)

CECASEMSince its creation in February 1990, CECASEM has witnessed the continuing social phenomenon of migration from rural areas to cities. Youth, children, adolescents, families, women and men move to the city in search of better opportunities, but many become trafficked for labour or sexual exploitation. CECASEM works to prevent trafficking by providing people with better opportunities for agro-fisheries development and improvement of health and education.
